A "Thank You" from the Producer of the C'ville USO Show

OOn December 9 & 10, 2007, a group of talented musicians, singers, dancers and vaudeville performers gathered at the Charlottesville Elk's Lodge No 389 and re-created a 1950's era morale-boosting show in the "Bob Hope on the Carrier Midway" mold.

We danced to the live music of a thirteen-piece swing band, heard great vocal renderings from the era of the Andrews Sisters and Frank Sinatra, saw attractive dancers who delighted the eye, and got some laughs from the comedy routines. We had an all-together fun time!

While the performers were having fun doing the entertaining our audiences were providing the financial support to allow us to be able to report that we will be able to donate over $2500.00 to a fund administered by American Legion Post 74 in Charlottesville to benefit the members of the local National Guard Units that have recently been activated for service in Iraq and the spouses and dependents they have left behind in our communities.

Information about upcoming performances and ticket sales is available by calling 434-964-1116.

Join us for our next program of great entertainment while supporting a great cause!
